As with its sister watercolour of Stepper Point, this was painted on the spot on a watercolour block with quite a fine grain. The tide is out here and the red and yellow flag is flying, meaning that it is safe to swim. Nonetheless, the lifeguards keep a close eye on what is happening. I like the opportunity to capture moments like these.
